It's official, Snakes fans...

The Cottonmouths' opponent in the championship series will be the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The Flyers beat Knoxville 1-0 to sweep their series and earn a date with the Snakes at the Pit on Thursday night.

Game 2, at least when I left the rink last night, will be in Pensacola on Saturday night. If necessary, the series returns to the Pit next Sunday.

It'll be the battle of the goaltenders in this series. Ian Vigier vs Steve Christie. Has the makings of a great series!!
