Ice rink offering free skating to celebrate first anniversary

To celebrate its first anniversary, the Columbus Ice Rink is offering free admission to public skating sessions Thursday through Sunday, the city announced today.

The free skating sessions will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m., Friday from 4-9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. Admission is free, but skate rental is $3 for all the sessions.

Sunday is also the Valley Rescue Mission Canned Food Drive. Skaters who bring in a canned good will get free admission and free skate rental.
