A man who ran from police early Saturday had a stun gun used on him before he was arrested, Columbus police said.

Dennis Brown, 21, of Columbus was charged with loitering and obstruction of an officer after he ran from officers outside the Foxy Lady Lounge, 3023 Victory Drive, reports state.

According to police, an officer spotted Brown about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the club’s parking lot. Brown then tried to hide behind a truck before he ran from police. Officers charged Brown and used a stun gun on him before he was taken into custody.

Police say they then took Brown to the Muscogee County Jail.
