You won't be seeing me around here for the next two weeks.

Why? This may not be a completely valid excuse, but I'm getting married on Saturday. That will be followed by a honeymoon. So while I will often break vacation if news warrants - yeah, not this time.

But I'll be back in a couple weeks, just in time for the start of SEC media days. Then that will mean the first day of practice is right around the corner, which will mean the start of the season is soon ... and so on and so forth.

In the meantime, my colleagues will post here if news does warrant. (As it, ahem, did late last week.)

Should you absolutely have to get a fix of my wonderful prose (I know, that's funny) here are a few things I've written lately that you may or may not have missed:

- The series on Georgia's most important games for the upcoming season, ranked least to most.

- The series on Georgia's 10 most important players for the 2012 season. (No. 9 on that list no longer applies.)

- An in-depth, overall recruiting update for the Bulldogs' prospective class in 2013.

I have also filed a feature on the friendship between Mark Richt and Mark Fox, which has some cool tidbits and interesting quotes. So look for that to run sometime in the next couple weeks.
