The USA Baseball 18-and-under National Team Trials roster was cut from 40 to 28 players Saturday night after the Prospect Classic Game.

Russell County High rising senior Anfernee Grier was one of the players cut from the roster.

The roster will be further trimmed to 20 players in August before the team heads to South Korea for the IBAF Junior AAA/18U World Championships.
