Music fans can flaunt either swimsuits or poodle skirts this weekend.

Saturday's calendar includes two appealing events: the inaugural Muddy Water Music Festival on Lake Harding, and a '50s Dance and Car Meet at F.D. Roosevelt State Park. Both events are open to all ages.

Want to wear your swimsuit? The Muddy Water Music Festival takes place Saturday at Two Tree Island on Lake Harding. You need a boat to get there. If you've never heard of Two Tree Island, don't worry. See a comprehensive set of directions below.

The event will feature performances by Kaleb King, the Neal Lucas Band and the Ricky Gunn Band. Gunn was recently honored as the top country male singer at the Georgia Music Awards.

One more reason to consider attending the festival: It's free.

Want to wear your poodle skirt? The Friends of F.D. Roosevelt State Park will have a '50s Dance and Car Meet on Saturday. Expect a dance contest, limbo contest and costume contest with prizes for the winners. Refreshments will be sold.

People with classic cars are encouraged to meet at the park office during the dance. Classic car participants will be entered in a gift card drawing.
