Should Adam Lambert join the "American Idol" judges' panel? That question made waves online Monday, thanks to an E! Online report that Fox is considering adding Lambert as an "Idol" judge.
Lambert, who placed second on the eighth season of "Idol," called the news a "beautiful rumor" but added he'd jump at the chance to judge the Fox reality TV competition.
Would you like to see Lambert as an "Idol" judge?
MJ's Big Blog makes a good point: Judging "Idol" is a huge time commitment that could cut into his ability to tour and release new music.
Still, I've always wished that more former "Idol" contestants would mentor the hopefuls each season. Let's strike a happy compromise and make Adam Lambert an in-house mentor, right beside Jimmy Iovine.
