Well, I am definitely too old to do this, but I may have tried out for it 10 years ago.
OK, maybe 15 years ago.
The Blue Man Group is holding an open casting call for the role of Showbot. Showbot is part human and part robot and will only be seen in a new show in Las Vegas, which makes its debut on Oct. 10 in the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.
The audition will be in the Monte Carlo's ballrooms 3 and 4 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 9.
You must be a woman who is 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5 only. OK, so I'm too short for this role. So it's a moot point.
You have to have a small build and be physically fit. I have a small frame, but physically fit? I don't think I was even 15 years ago! You should have rhythm and physical theater experience, whatever that means. I definitely don't have rhythm and like I said, I have no idea what physical theater experience means. I've been on the Springer Opera House stage in musicals, if that counts.
