There aren't too many shows whose premiere dates I actually mark on my calendar, but "Boardwalk Empire" is one of them. The third season of the HBO gangster drama airs on Sept. 16.

What's even more fun than the premiere of a favorite show is having a special way of celebrating it — my husband and I have indulged in a Tru Blood (it's really a blood orange soda) during "True Blood's" premiere on more than one occasion.
