BREAKING DOWN THE TIGERS

The Good: The Tigers return Dandy Dozen defensive lineman Jay Ellison, who is being recruited by Georgia Tech, Auburn, Mississippi State and Clemson.

The Bad: Only 10 starters return for the 2012 season.

Our take: Harris County will need to avoid the late-season swoon like it experienced a year ago. Some new starters, while lacking as much game experience, can sometimes help in that regard by giving fresh life to the offense and defense. If it's the latter, the Tigers could find success in 2012. The Tigers move up to Class AAAAA, but a playoff berth is an attainable goal.
