BREAKING DOWN THE RED JACKETS
The Good: Start with the offseason: Jordan has increased the number of players on the team to nearly 40, an impressive start for new coach Jim Brown. Damond Wyatt, a returning starter on both offense and defense is a bright spot for the team as it tries to get back in the win column.
The Bad: The Red Jackets have lost 14 games in a row dating back to the 2010 season. Brown found the program in even worse shape than he thought when he arrived earlier this year.
Our take: It's hard to say a team will improve significantly following an 0-10 season, especially when it has only two starters returning on each side of the ball. With that said, the team is certainly improving, and Brown expects to be competitive every time they take the field. The Red Jackets may not be able to expect the first winning season since 1993, but ending that losing streak is a realistic goal.
