BREAKING DOWN THE RAIDERS
The Good: The Raiders return All-Bi-City quarterback Chandler Whittlesey from last season. He threw for 1,948 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also ran for 603 yards and six touchdowns. He has plenty of weapons returning as well in running back Johntez Webb (584 yards and five TDs) and wide receiver Lavante Williams (32 catches for 475 yards).
The Bad: Shaw moved up to Class AAAA and into a tougher region with the addition to several Atlanta-area schools.
Our take: The Raiders have a lot of firepower on offense, certainly enough to be in the running for a playoff berth from Region 5.
