The Kansas City Chiefs placed former Carver standout DeQuan Menzie on injured reserve Friday, ending his season.
Menzie, who played on Alabama's national championship team last season, struggled with a hamstring injury during training camp.
After making three tackles in the Chiefs' first preseason game, Menzie sat out the final three with the injury.
Menzie, a defensive back, was drafted by the Chiefs in the fifth round last summer.
