Katie Couric's new talk show starts in a few weeks.

Why anyone thinks the show will be a success is beyond me.

I simply never liked her. She seems awfully phony to me.

The one good thing she's done is raising awareness about colon cancer and getting people to get colonoscopies.

Other than that, I can't think of anything. Of course that may be because I never watch "The Today Show." I never watched her on the CBS evening news.

Unfortunately, since ABC signed her, she's on "Good Morning America."

Ugh.

At least I'm at work when her show will be on and I won't have to turn the channel.

Hey, if this doesn't work, maybe her time on TV will be over. She's been at NBC, CBS and now ABC. Maybe a stint on some obscure cable channel is next?
