Published: September 6, 2012

Chris Rehak, a sophomore defensive tackle for the Pacelli football team, has been named an Offense-Defense All-American and has been invited to participate in the Bowl Week festivities Dec. 26-Jan. 1 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Rehak was selected from a group of more than 1,000 individuals across the country.

During the Bowl Week, Rehak will play in the Offense-Defense Youth All-American Bowl and represent the United States in the inaugural Offense-Defense Can/Am Games.

Past participants in the Offense-Defense Bowl Week include current NFL pros like Cam Newton, Carlos Dunlop and Dez Bryant.

“This is a great honor for a kid his age,” Vikings coach Randy Grace said. “He will be able to use this experience to prepare for playing football at the college level.”

Offense-Defense Sports has been running full-contact instructional camps for the past 44 years and currently operates in approximately 40 camp locations nationwide.
