Police accuse woman of shoplifting spray cans, inhaling contents

A woman arrested Wednesday faces accusations she shoplifted spray cans and inhaled their contents, reports state.

Patricia Colgan, 46, is charged with theft by shoplifting and intentional inhalation of model glue, police said.

According to reports, an officer was flagged down near the Buena Vista Road Wal-Mart about 11 a.m. Wednesday about someone shoplifting from the store. The officer began investigating the report, and discovered that Colgan, of Blakely, Ga. had stolen hair spray cans and inhaled their contents.

Georgia law defines model glue as any substance containing a wide variety of chemicals.
