REHOBETH, Ala. -- Russell County's Jermain McCovery intercepted a pass and raced 50 yards for a touchdown to spark the Warriors to a 24-0 win over Rehobeth at W.F. Andrews Field Friday night.
Assistant Coach Shawn Taylor said the Warriors' offense settled down in the second quarter.
"We stuggled early, but we began to run the football," he said. "We played better, but we still have a lot of room to improve."
Marquez Grier had more than 100 yards rushing and scored on a 65-yard run.
On the defensive side of the ball, Ryan Fleming added an interception.
