Someone with a fresh supply of ball caps will face a burglary charge if Columbus police catch up with whoever broke into a Hamilton Road thrift store over the weekend.

Between 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday, a thief broke through plywood to enter a window on the north side of Pickers Thrift Store, 3212 Hamilton Road, according to owner Mark Bruer, who reported the break-in at 1:18 p.m. Sunday.

The loot, according to investigators, was about $40 worth of "assorted ball caps."
