Mayor Teresa Tomlinson will hold the third of her four quarterly public forums Thursday at Columbus State University's Cunningham Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The forum, dubbed "Let's Talk with the Mayor," is being held in conjunction with CSU's Student Activity Council and Student Government Association.
Tomlinson's forums are intended to provide citizens with access to city leaders and to foment discussion on issues facing the city. In addition to the mayor and some members of Columbus Council, top city executives are on hand to answer questions from citizens.
The final forum of 2012 will be held Dec. 11 at the River Mill Event Center in Bibb City, in conjunction with the Bibb City Neighborhood Association.
Tomlinson began her series of public forums last year, her first year in office. She held forums in 2011 at the Delta Sigma Theta House on Forrest Road, the Midland Masonic Lodge on Garrett Road, American Legion Post 267 on Cusseta Road and the main Public Library on Macon Road.
This year, forums have been held at St. John AME Church on Steam Mill Road and at Wynnbrook Baptist Church on River Road.
