Columbus State's Kimesha Anthony wins Montevallo Intercollegiate

— Columbus State’s Kimesha Anthony rallied from three strokes down to win the Montevallo Intercollegiate on Tuesday.

Anthony began the second and final round at Timberline Golf Club three strokes behind Lander’s Teresa Caballer Hernani.

Anthony shot a 1-over-par 72 in the final round to finish at 4-over 146. Hernani added a 78 to finish a 148.

For Anthony, it was her second straight title.

Lander won the team title. The Lady Bearcats shot a 313 to finish at 42-over 610. CSU was second at 614 after shooting a 304 in the final round.

Other CSU players included Kaitie Cross (74-156, 12th), Kristin Galek (79-157, 13th), Heather Altiser (83-159, 14th) and Ciera Bagler (79-162, tie-23rd).
