Downtown Nightlife Association, Chattahoochee Harley Davidson and Extreme Outfitters presents Military Appreciation Night Friday in downtown Columbus.
The public can enjoy the free Uptown Concert Series, featuring Departure: The Journey Tribute Band, beginning at 7 p.m., while the Columbus Antique Military Organization will have military vehicles on display
Party-goers are encouraged to wear red, white and blue to support the troops.
In addition, DNA's "Red Solo Cup Party" continues on Friday and Saturday. For $10, partiers can purchase a Red Solo Cup good for a signature drink at each of eight participating bars -- The Tap, The Vault, The Loft, Oxygen, Scruffy Murphy's, Bootleggers, Big City Club and Twisted. A portion of the proceeds go to House of Heroes and Team Extreme charities.
Cups can be purchased in advance at Chattahoochee Harley Davidson, 3230 Williams Road or along Broadway Friday and Saturday.
