Alabama men's basketball coach Anthony Grant has received a raise of $100,000. His contract also has been extended a year to 2019.
Both contract moves were approved this morning by the University of Alabama Board of Trustees' compensation committee, which met by teleconference.
Grant's salary is now $1.9 million. In addition, Alabama athletics director Mal Moore got a raise of $31,500 to $620,000. His contract runs through 2014.
Four other coaches received contract extensions. Women's tennis coach Jennifer Mainz and soccer coach Todd Bramble have been extended to 2014. Women's golf coach Mic Potter and men's golf coach Jay Seawell are extended to 2016.
Contracts for two new coaches were approved: swimming coach Dennis Pursely and men's tennis coach George Husack have deals to 2016.
