I'm not yet a mother, but I've long been a fan of the Muscogee Moms website. They offer tons of great resources for local events and happenings in the area that are great for families or just anyone looking to have a good time.

And this time of year, they have a great roundup of pumpkin patches and fall festivals as well.

Today voting starts for their annual Mom's Choice Awards, "allowing parents and caregivers in the Chattahoochee Valley to recognize the local businesses that have the biggest impact on their families," states the press release.

There are five finalists in each category, which include Best Birthday Party Venue/Service, Best Private School, Best Chiropractor, Best Restaurant for a Date Night and many more.

Voters can go <"http://www.muscogeemoms.com/moms-choice-awards/">here to access the ballots. All voters will be entered to win a $100 Target gift card.

Voting ends Nov. 10.

For more information, businesses and voters can contact Charlotte Bowman at charlotte@muscogeemoms.com.

Each voter can cast only one vote per category. The top three businesses in each category to receive the highest number of online votes will be determined as Mom's Choice, Runner-Up and Honorable Mention, respectively. The winners will be posted on each website on Monday, December 10.

So if you've got a favorite local business that you think deserves some recognition, get your vote on! It'll be good practice for heading out to the polls on Nov. 6.
