City, law enforcement holding auction on Oct. 13

The city of Columbus and local law enforcement agencies will hold an auction of surplus and confiscated property at the Civic Center on Saturday, Oct. 13, starting at 10 a.m.

The auction is expected to offer about 135 vehicles and around 400 lots of miscellaneous merchandise.

The auction consists of items from the Consolidated Government, the Columbus Police Department and the Muscogee and Russell County Sheriff’s Offices.
