A woman told police she was threatened to not scream and raped Thursday inside her home off St. Marys Road, Columbus police said.

The woman, 29, was treated at The Medical Center after reporting the alleged assault about 12:20 p.m. She was in fair condition.

Police have no suspect but an attacker could face charges of rape, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, criminal attempted robbery and burglary in connection with the assault .

The rape investigation is the third report of sexual assault on the city's south side this week.
