Teen killed in auto accident near LaFayette

Major James Sanders, 18, of Stockbridge, Ga. was killed in a one-car wreck this morning.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. on Highway 431 south of LaFayette, Ala.

Stockbridge was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer.

According to the Alabama State Patrol, Sanders was not wearing a seat belt.

A cause for the accident was not given.
