Voters on Phenix City's north and south sides return to the polls today for City Council runoffs. Polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The District 1 precinct is the Roy Martin Center, 1100 Airport Road. Jim Cannon squares off against Steve Bailey in a bid to represent the city's north side. The District 3 polling place is Spencer Recreational Center, 400 Eighth Ave. South. Voters on the city's south side have to decide between Arttie Pontez Sumbry and Arthur L. Day Jr.

Registered voters in District 1 and District 3 may vote. Visit www.phenixcityal.us for precinct maps if you are unsure of your voting district.
