The Georgia Bulldogs held a two-hour practice in full pads Wednesday.
It was the second of just three practices scheduled this week because the Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1 SEC) dont play Saturday. The teams final workout of the week will be Thursday.
We treated it like spring football; weve got a lot to get better at, and we wanted to go live and tackle, Georgia head coach Mark Richt said in a release. You take a risk when you do that in midseason, but were not competing this Saturday so we scrimmaged a bit (Wednesday). It was great competition, and I think the guys enjoyed it.
Well get the game plan in and start perfecting it on Monday, so we can have a good performance against Kentucky.
Georgia plays at Kentucky at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20. The Wildcats (1-5, 0-3) face Arkansas (2-4, 1-2) on Saturday.
