More than 800 family, friends, business associates and those who have benefitted from their generosity paid tribute to Sue Marie and Bill Turner on Thursday night at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center. The retired chairman of the W.C. Bradley Co. and his wife were honored at the gala with the inaugural Sue Marie and Bill Turner Servant Leadership Award by the Pastoral Institute, a faith-based counseling and resource center they helped found 38 years ago. Pastoral Institute Director and Chief Executive Officer Ron King called the Turner's the institute's and the community's "greatest champions." The evening ended with the Turner's grandchildren singing Bill Turner "Happy Birthday" as he turned 90.
