An original stage play by Jonathan S.E. Perkins is performed at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through October at the Liberty Theatre, 831 Eighth Ave. In the play, a sudden change of events finds a mechanic out of work and looking for a stimulus package sooner than later.
