Nov. 3: Harvest in the Meadows Fall Festival at Oxbow Meadows

Columbus State University's Oxbow Meadows hosts a fall festival: Harvest in the Meadows 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. Expect a reptile show, games, bouncy house, raptor release, telescope viewing and a kiss an alligator contest. A caramel apple bar, face and hair painting, pony rides, petting zoo and appearances by Smokey the Bear and Cody the Cougar will be highlights. Frank N Gator, a scarecrow/alligator is the mascot for Harvest in the Meadows festival.

When: 4-8 p.m. Nov. 3

Where: Oxbow Meadows, 3535 South Lumpkin Road

Cost: Admission is free but $10 wristbands will be needed to participate in games and activities.
