A Columbus woman accused of hindering the arrest of felony suspect was arrested late Monday at a Paprika Lane home, police said.

Alexis Messenger, 22, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. during a search by the Special Operations Unit. She was held without bond at the Muscogee County Jail for an 8 a.m. Thursday hearing in Columbus Recorder's Court.

In a report, police said officers went to the home after receiving information about a felony suspect was inside. The suspect wasn't immediately identified but police said he was arrested after falling through the roof.

The arrests of Messenger and the suspect remain under investigation.
