Mike Haskey mhaskey@ledger-enquirer.com People gathered Thursday morning to dedicate a new community playground designed to serve children of all ages, including those with disabilities. The playground, a project of the Columbus State University's Servant Leadership Program, is located behind the Columbus Public Library on land owned by the Muscogee County School District. The senior classes of 2010, 2011 and 2013 in CSU's Servant Leadership Program have spearheaded the program. The students and supporters have raised more than $400,000 to build the playground but need to raise more funds to finish the project. The playground is not yet open to the public. 10/25/12
