Thomas Country Central's Adam Choice showed why he is considered a college prospect as a junior. He ran for three touchdowns and passed for another leading the Yellow Jackets to a 52-0 rout of Hardaway Saturday night at Kinnett stadium in region 1-AAAAA play.

Choice, the younger brother of current Dallas Cowboys halfback Rashard Choice, scored the first two times he touched the ball, one on a 71-yard run up the middle and the second time on a 36-yard run on an option play to give the Yellow Jackets a 13-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, and they never looked back.

Choice finished the game with stellar numbers as he ran 12 times for 176 yards and three scores and completed the only pass he threw for a 25-yard touchdown. He did not play in the fourth period.

Adding to that total were backfield mates Tim Brown and Shaquille Coleman. Coleman ran for 105 yards and scored two touchdowns and Brown ran for 84 yards and scored one running TD and caught the touchdown pass from Choice.

That backfield will give Yellow Jacket opponents problems to come as all three players are underclassmen and will be returning next year. This year the Yellow jackets are 8-1 overall and undefeated (3-0) in region play. Next Friday they will have a bye week. Hardaway fell to 2-6, 0-3 in the region.

Hardaway had some bright moments for the game, most of them with Justin Crawford on offense. Crawford took the opening kickoff 71 yards but was stopped on the 17.

Crawford ran for much of the offensive total for the Hawks as he carried the ball 23 times for 134 yards against the Yellow Jacket defense and passed for an additional 57 yards. However, the Hawks had four interceptions for the game, two each by the Yellow Jackets' Jarell Jones and Willie Ivey, that blunted potential scoring drives.

Hardaway also fumbled once and the Yellow Jackets lost two fumbles including one in the end zone for a Hardaway touchback that prevented a Yellow Jacket score in the second period.
