Two men were robbed at gunpoint late Wednesday as they walked on 47th Street in Beallwood, Columbus police said.

Neither of the victims, ages 31 and 23, was injured in the holdup which occurred about 8:45 p.m. near 11th Avenue.

Police said the men were approached by a man wearing all black clothing and white shoes. The man pulled a gun, pointed it at the chest of one victim and demanded his cell phone valued at $100.

After taking the phone, the gunman ran north on 11th Avenue and possibly entered a dark-colored vehicle, police said.
