Columbus police are searching for two hooded men after a Columbus woman said they attempted to break into her Gardenia Street home.

The 35-year-old woman wasn't injured in the 12:40 p.m. Thursday incident.

In a report, police said the teens took the screen off the south window of the home and demanded the woman's phone but she refused. If arrested, the teens will be charged with criminal attempted robbery and first-degree burglary.

Both men were described as black. Both are 18-20 years old, 5-foot-7, with a medium build and a low hair cut. The men were wearing black pull over hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.
