Woman identified in fatal wreck on Interstate 185

A 19-year-old Cartersville, Ga., woman who was killed early Thursday in a one-vehicle wreck on Interstate 185 near Pine Mountain, has been identified.

The woman was identified as Hannah Stoup, said Harris County Coroner James Carver. An autopsy will be conducted today to determine a cause of death.

Carver said four other occupants were injured when the four-door sedan lost control. All of the injured were transported to The Medical Center in Columbus. None of their names have been released.

A trooper spokeswoman said the wreck occurred about 12:50 a.m. when the southbound vehicle traveled into the median and overturned. Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle, causing one death.

The wreck remains under investigation.
