Brookstone 52, Central-Talbotton 12: Duncan Fletcher turns in stellar performance in Cougars' win

Brookstone's Duncan Fletcher passed for three touchdowns and ran for another in the first quarter Friday night at Rex Knight Field as the Cougars rolled over Central-Talbotton 52-12.

Fletcher connected with Tim Kennedy for two touchdowns of 12 and 19 yards, and passed to Madison McCluskey for a 29-yard score.

The Cougars quarterback also scored on a 54-yard run.

Brookstone moved to 7-2 (5-1 Region 4-A) and has won five straight.

Fletcher was 7 of 10 for 98 yards. McCluskey rushed for 72 yards on 9 carries and ran for two touchdowns.

The Brookstone defense held Central to 42 yards of offense in the first half. They finished with 234 offensive yards. Brookstone totaled 375 offensive yards.

Brookstone's backup quarterback Cooper Farley connected with Drew Webb for a 41 yard touchdown late in the third quarter.
