Flaming grill burns man in stadium parking lot, Columbus police say

A flaming grill burned a 23-year-old man Saturday in the parking lot of the A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium, police said.

Jonathan Chamblee told officers "he was lighting a grill when the flame exploded and burned his face and right arm" shortly before noon, police reported, adding, "Chamblee was alert and his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening."

He was treated and released at the hospital.
