Dec. 7: Columbus Symphony Orchestra presents Christmas in the Valley

Santa stops by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra's Christmas in the Valley concert at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Bring a camera to take pictures of your kids with Santa. The concert features music by the orchestra, Voice of the Valley Youth choir and an excerpt from the Columbus Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker."

"Christmas Medley," "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," "White Christmas," "Holiday Song," "Solstice," "Oh, Holy Night," "The Twelve Days of Christmas," "Christmas Around the World," "Sleigh Ride" and selections from "The Nutcracker."

When: Friday, Dec. 7. Santa arrives at 6:30 p.m., concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Where: RiverCenter for the Performing Arts.

Cost: Tickets cost $5 to $36. RiverCenter's box office, 900 Broadway, is open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
