A 61-year-old handy man was punched and kicked during a Thursday robbery that netted $40 in cash on North Lumpkin Road, Columbus police said.
The man wasn't seriously injured in the 1:30 a.m. holdup but sustained a cut above his left eye and cheek and had a busted lip.
The victim, who works as a handy man, said he was in the street when the robber punched and kicked him. The robber fled with his cash.
Police said the robbery remains under investigation.
