JACKSON, Ga. -- After a scoreless first half, Torrance McGee helped Carver pull away from Jackson in the second half.
Dreilon Freeman hauled in an 8-yard touchdown pass from McGee with 9:00 left in the third quarter.
Jackson scored on a touchdown pass but failed to convert the two-point play on a pass.
Noah Hickey scored on a run for Carver to go up 14-6 in the third quarter.
The Tigers added to the lead when McGee hit Richard Reese on a 10-yard touchdown pass with 9:10 left in the game.
McGee added a 2-yard touchdown run minutes later to close out the scoring.
Carver (9-1, 6-0), which had won the Region 2-AAA title last week, will host Dodge County next week in the state playoff opener.
