Columbus police investigate report of theft from cars at Club Sky

Columbus police are investigating the report of an incident where two cars were broken into and items taken.

The burglaries happened at 1818 Midtown Drive in the parking lot of Club Sky.

According to the police report, the owner of a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix came out of the club and found the driver's side window smashed. The report did not list was taken from the vehicle but the damage was estimated at less than $300.

The report said the car was broken into sometime between Friday at 11:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 a.m.

Another vehicle, a 2001 Hyundai Sonata was found with the passenger's side window smashed. The estimate of the damage was less than $300.

A purse belonging to the owner's friend was reported stolen. The purse was valued at $360 and had $30 in it.

The burglary happened between 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. Saturday.
