A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with the rape of a 20-year-old woman.

He will appear in Columbus Recorder's Court Tuesday afternoon and will be charged as an adult.

According to the police report, the incident occurred between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Saturday in an apartment at the Booker T. Washington apartments.

Police say the woman was beaten.

Besides rape, the boy is being charged with false imprisonment, battery and giving a false name.
