LaGrange Police: Report of armed robbery at McDonald's being investigated

Police in LaGrange, Ga. are investigating the report of an armed robbery at the McDonald's restaurant on Vernon Road.

According to the police report, the crime occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday.

An 25-year-old employee told police that a black male, about 5-foot-7, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweat shirt and a wrap or mask over his face, came into the restaurant, pointed a black gun at him and demanded money.

Nobody was injured.

The suspect was seen leaving on foot.

The case is under investigation.
