If a small paycheck has prevented you from purchasing art, you're in luck.
A cool event comes courtesy of the the Columbus Chamber's Young Professionals, Columbus State University's Friends of Art program and the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley. Time for Art is 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. You'll bid on art with volunteer hours, rather than money.
The Mix and Mingle session is at 6 p.m., while the silent auction starts at 7 p.m. The event is at the Corn Center for the Visual Arts, 921 Front Ave. Cost is $10 for Young Professionals members, $20 for non-members. Price includes beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Call 706-596-7014.
