Northern Colorado cornerback suspended for illegal hit

The Big Sky Conference suspended Northern Colorado cornerback Courtney Hall for one game Wednesday for an illegal hit in this past Saturday's game against Weber State.

Hall, a sophomore from Pompano Beach, Fla., will be suspended for Northern Colorado's season finale on Saturday against North Dakota.

He was suspended for a hit with the crown of his helmet with only 17 seconds left in Northern Colorado's 42-34 victory over Weber State in Ogden. He was penalized on the play.

Northern Colorado has a 4-6 record.
