Woman carjacked at gunpoint on Bragg Smith

A 24-year-old woman wasn't injured Wednesday afternoon when her car was taken at gunpoint on Bragg Smith Street at Cusseta Road, Columbus police said.

The woman told police she was approached by two men about 5:40 p.m. and one was armed with a pistol. The men took her maroon 2007 Chevy Impala valued at $8,000.

Both suspects are black. One was described as "JR", with medium height, a muscular build, wearing all black clothing and black skull cap. The second bandit was described as "Strap" with medium build, short and wearing a white jacket and had crooked teeth.

The vehicle theft remains under investigation.
