A teen found loitering near the Lucky Lotto store on Hunter Road was charged with drug possession and other offenses Thursday afternoon.

Quentin L. Jones was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction of police and one count of armed robbery. He was arrested about 3:30 p.m. and held in the Muscogee County Jail for a hearing this morning.

Police chased Jones after officers arrived at the 2026 Hunter Road business. When he was taken into custody, he had almost an ounce of marijuana in 18 separate bags. Police didn't specify what led to the armed robbery charge.
