LaGrange police seeking man in aggravated assault

Police in LaGrange, Ga. are searching for a suspect in a reported aggravated assault and burglary.

The suspect is Sawyer Crawl, 31, of LaGrange.

According to a police report, officers responded to a call at approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday.

A 22-year-old woman told police that Crawl had broken her apartment door, choked her and began swinging a knife at her.

She told police that a family member got Crawl to leave but that Crawl took her cell phone with him.

Warrants have been issued for Crawl for aggravated assault and burglary.

Anyone with information should contact LaGrange police.
